Training

This is the essential first training, comprising six 20-30 minute Zoom sessions.

Delegates will need to attend all the sessions to complete this unit of training. From these six short sessions you will get all the resources and understanding you need to begin using Rainbow Talk straight away. Schools can book this training as a single full day option.

This training, comprising two half-day interactive Zoom sessions (3 hours per session) will take you deeper into the Rainbow Talk process

and follows on from the introduction to Rainbow Talk sessions.

Please note: Delegates must attend the Introduction to Rainbow talk training prior to joining this training.

A half-day (three hour) session focussing specifically on Rainbow Talk for children with English as an Additional Language. Ann Dawson has more than twenty years experience in teaching children with EAL.

Please note: Delegates need to have completed the full six session or full day ‘Introduction to Rainbow Talk’ training before signing up for this session.

This course is for Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 leaders and practitioners.

Two half-day (three hour) sessions focussing on P4C with Early Years children. The training covers the Rainbow Thinking and P4C processes and the looks at a range of ideas, resources and stimuli to generate thoughtful talk with the children.

Delegates with receive a grounding in both approaches throughout the day.

A half-day (three-hour) session focussing specifically on Rainbow Talk for children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs.

Please note: Delegates need to have completed the full six session ‘Introduction to Rainbow Talk’ training before signing up for this session.
